Conversations about Assessment - The Canadian Rockies Experience

As a small school division, we are faced with significant challenges – attracting and retaining teachers in a very expensive area of Alberta; meeting the professional development needs of our staff with limited resources; a declining student population.  Often, we feel too small to provide the supports necessary for students and staff.  However, once in a while we are reminded of the advantages of being small.

 

This is the case with a project we are undertaking on assessment.  It is a project that arose as a result of the division’s Cycle 2 AISI project on differentiated instruction.
